Please hold your queries

by Anita Bartholomew on October 8, 2010

With more than 250 queries still waiting to be read, I must ask that authors hold their queries. I will not be accepting or reading new queries for the foreseeable future.

I know that some of you queried me after reading, in an article in Writers Digest, that I was open to new writers. At the time the article was written, that was true, but the response was so overwhelming that I must now concentrate on the clients I’ve already agreed to represent.

If you’ve recently queried me, I apologize in advance. It’s a tough business and there just aren’t enough opportunities for all the fine writers out there.
