Anita Bartholomew has been in publishing in various roles for 15+ years. She was a longtime contributing editor for Reader’s Digest, focusing on narrative non-fiction, and a literary agent for Salkind Literary Agency.
An author, ghost writer and developmental editor (book doctor), Anita works with authors of fiction and non-fiction to improve all elements of their manuscripts.
Her novel, The Midget’s House: A Circus Story… A Love Story… A Ghost Story, the imagined history of her quirky home in Sarasota, Florida, was published as an ebook in October 2011 and will soon be published in paperback. She is the co-author of Something To Prove: A Daughter’s Journey to Fulfill a Father’s Legacy, Dr. Yvonne S. Thornton’s follow-up to her bestselling The Ditchdigger’s Daughters, and has ghosted other works of fiction and non-fiction.
